Cartoon Festival
The 11th International Bojnourd Cartoon Festival of “Humanity”
This festival is aimed at explaining the humanitarian approach of Islamic Iran against the Islamic views and Iranophobia, which some seditionist powers want to form the public opinion of the world community through political propaganda. The theme of this festival is based upon the well-known poem of the major Persian and Muslim poet, Saadi Shirazi of the 7th Century:
Human beings are members of a whole,
In the creation of one essence and soul.
If one member is afflicted with pain,
Other members uneasy will remain.
If you’ve no sympathy for human pain,
The name of human you cannot retain!
