“Mokab” Architecture Design Competition

The Mokab Competition is another special event of Sepehr Soore Honar in the architecture area that deals with the design and how are the construction of Mokabs during Arbaeen Walk.In order to better organize these makabs, the competition looks upon goals such as focusing on the cultural concepts of the Hosseini uprising to contextualize the Islamic -lifestyle, providing better and more complete services to pedestrian pilgrims and users of Mocabs, and also  It concentrates on climatic conditions and good communication with nature, designing multifunctional spaces, better understanding of customs and walking conditions for pilgrimage organized in collaboration with the Islamic Architecture Center of the Art section. This is the interesting features of this festival that gives the all interested people the opportunity to participate, while it is not limited only to the country′s architectural community.
