Revolution Art’s Week
Revolutionary Art’s Week is organized to mark martyr Seyed Morteza Avini anniversary, the Iranian filmmaker and theorist who is known as a martyrs’ chief at writing; it is held for a week each year in April.20 People who are the top artists are awarded Revolution Art prize based on their artworks and influence throughout the year. It also introduces a selected artist to the art community by nominating some of the top Iranian artists and creating competition and judging them. Artists such as Ebrahim Hatami Kia, Hamid Hesam, Seyyed Masoud Shojaei Tabatabaei have received this title.
Cultural and art events such as film screenings and critiques, theater performances, literary meetings and workshops, visual arts exhibitions will have held at art centers around the country synchronously. This extensive cultural activity is one of the Sepehr Soore Honar Institute activities.
